Early Intervention Questions & Answers

Photo of nurse and tiny baby to reflect the tender, loving, yet professional care given by Reliable Enterprises to all children with special needsDo you have questions about a child’s behavior, diagnosis, therapy program, etc.? Take a deep breath and know that you are not alone in your efforts to get the best possible resources, education and care for your child and your family.

We are Lewis County Parent to Parent. Parent to Parent has a book and video lending library, a bi-monthly newsletter, special education advocates, parent mentors, hundreds of resources on parenting, diagnosis and periodical events for the entire family. Please ask.

The Infant Toddler Development Center, In-Tot, is another program of Reliable Enterprises. In-Tot has been active in Lewis County for 20 years and has served over 500 children and families. This program serves children birth to 3 years old. Babies can be effectively screened as early as four months. Children with developmental delays can receive free physical, occupational and/or speech therapy, depending on the child’s needs. Therapy can be in the child’s home, at the center or in a group. Early intervention has prevented many children in our program from needing special education services at school age.
