In-Tot Developmental Center

Photo of child in the Reliable Enterprises Infant Toddler Early Intervention therapy program Our Infant Toddler Early Intervention Program (In-Tot) has been providing screenings, evaluations and therapy services for children birth to three since 1981. The intervention, education and support services they provide focus on family and the available community resources to help children with developmental delays.

In-Tot provides free screenings to look at how your child is learning and growing in their developmental areas of gross and fine motor, problem solving, communication, social and self help skills. If the screening shows an area of concern an evaluation is then done to further look at your child’s development.

Eligibility

To be eligible, a child must have a delay of 25% or show a 1.5 standard deviation below his or her age in one or more of the developmental areas. A child may also be eligible if he or she has a physical or mental condition, such as Down Syndrome, that is known to cause a delay in development.

If your child is eligible for early intervention services, a Family Resource Coordinator (FRC) will help you develop an Individual Family Resource Plan (IFSP) that reflects your family’s concerns, interests and values. An IFSP is an ongoing process that meets the changing needs of your child and family and is reviewed at least every six months.

Therapy

If your child needs speech, occupational or physical therapy, therapists are available to provide the services your child needs. The program uses school district and county developmental disability dollars plus state or private insurance to pay for these services. Therapy is done in a variety of settings which might include your home, a community setting (daycare), our community playgroup or center.
